On November 2nd, 2009, teachers and educational responsibles from Bulgarian and Romanian high-schools held the seminar "Sharing Successful Experience from Previous Similar Activities Undertaken by Partners Focusing on Customer Education" at St. Jospeh High School - Bucharest.

The organizers are: Caritas Bucharest, AIDROM and ADPARE.

On November 2nd, 2009, teachers and educational responsibles from Bulgarian and Romanian high-schools held the seminar "Sharing Successful Experience from Previous Similar Activities Undertaken by Partners Focusing on Customer Education" at St. Jospeh High School - Bucharest.

The organizers are: Caritas Bucharest, AIDROM and ADPARE.

 

The seminar started with an introduction of the topic and the expectations of participants and continued with the presentation "Human Trafficing - a market governed by 'demand - supply' mechanism creating victims, 'consumers' and traffickers" (Prof. Gabriela Chiroiu).

Several movies had been presented.

In the first part of the meeting, two workshops took place:

  • Group No. 1 - "How to organize prevention activities so that not to train future 'consumers' of sexual services";
  • Group No. 2 - "How to organize prevention activities so that not to train future 'labor exploiters".

The second part was dedicated to the topic "How can we educate young generation not to become a 'client' or 'trafficker'".
