Dear friends,
The AT Campaign 2010 proposes a contest for the best logo and motto. The
submitted materials belong to the schools and institutions involved in
the project "Development
of
transnational mechanisms to fight against human trafficking in
Romania and in Bulgaria".
In a few days, as soon as some other works will be published, you will be kindly invited to express your opinion by voting your favorite
issues. The poll system will be placed on the left side of the page.

Monday - February 22, 2010 - working meeting with the students of St. Joseph
High School in Bucharest - 'Hidden faces of violence' - brought together
about 40 students from the 8th to the 12th grade. The purpose of the meeting
was to make students better understand and recognize violence and its
various forms of manifestation, including and especially in human
trafficking. The meeting was extremely interactive, stimulated by the
professional ppt presentation held by two sisters from SOLWODI Association -
a new partner of Caritas Bucharest in its fight against violence - and by
the video spot on AT launched by the National
Agency against Trafficking in
Persons.
The meeting was really challenging in terms of identifying causes
and consequences of violence in the everyday life, as well as its direct
relation with human
trafficking.
As a follow up, in two weeks time the
students present in the meeting
will convey the gained information and
knowledge to their class mates.

On December 14, 2009, a workshop was organized in Ruse for the project *Development of transnational mechanisms to fight against human trafficking in Romania and in Bulgaria".*
The meeting
hasd the following goals:
- to gather participants from
educational and social institutions from both of the countries -
Romania and Bulgaria and to share the activities already
done
- to realize a plan for preparing the anti-trafficking
campaigns
All the 38 participants have been glad to meet and to
know about all the enthousiastic projects and activities done or
planned.
Regarding the future campaigns, Gabriela Chiroiu -
Romanian Project Coordinator, proposed a plan for a contest regarding
the materials to be used. Thus, a voting campaign will be launched on
the website of anti-trafficking.info where the submitted materials
realized by the institutions involved in the project will be presented
and a voting system will allow to select the final ones.
